XV - The Devil
Imagery: A man and a woman are chained to the Devil’s pedestal. The chains are loose around their necks, but they don’t recognize this. They each have a powerful tail … she the fruiting tail of knowledge and he the flaming tale of life … but this power goes unused.
The Devil is about the ways we allow ourselves to be held back. Our blocks can be other people, circumstances, behaviors, and our own beliefs.
XIV - Temperance
Imagery: An angel is pouring liquid from one cup to another. He is standing with one foot in the water and one on land, perfectly balanced.
The two liquids the Temperance angel is blending are alchemical, their union creating something completely new and wonderful.
This month, watch for any ruts that you may be in. Try to live your life thoughtfully and with purpose. Question your decisions, behaviors, and beliefs. Do they serve your highest good? As you learn to make new and better choices, you will transform your life into something magical!
